Lasik Surgery Videos
I was not sure at first about posting lasik surgery videos from youtube on my blog here, but the first lasik surgery video I posted has become one of the most popular pages on this site. So I thought I would take another look and see if I could find any more clips that people considering the lasik procedure might find helpful. Without too much effort on my part, I was able to find another one. As with any surgery video, it is not for the squeamish since it is a video of the actual procedure itself but if you are thinking about getting lasik it might do you some good to see the actual surgery in progress even if you are a bit squeamish. It has a running time of less than nine minutes so it will not take up much of your time yet it gives you a strong sense of what the procedure is like. This latest vid is below so click on it to begin playing:
The young person who uploaded the movie mentions in the description that he or she is in his mid twenties, had no major complications from the surgery and now enjoys 20/20 vision. I did not choose this video for that reason, but rather because it provides a glimpse of what is actually involved during lasik surgery. That could certainly prove helpful if you have just started looking into the procedure or are on the the fence.
Back when I was researching lasik for myself, youtube had not really evolved into the massive community it is today with people posting clips of just about everything that can possibly be recorded. I know that makes me sound old, but lasik eye surgery has been around longer than video sharing websites so take it easy on this old dude. Surgery videos were available from some lasik centers I checked out, but you had to actually go to the office in order to watch one. Now with youtube you can watch lasik videos without having to leave your house, commit to anything or hear a sales pitch.
I have a feeling I will be posting more lasik surgery videos in the future so be sure to book mark the lasik surgery information home page and come back often. Hope this helps!
